Your Salmon Harbor Oasis Program

At the Salmon Harbor Oasis we have several ways we can serve you. We will ask you as you book with us how we can best meet your needs.

We are here to serve and strengthen you as pastors and missionaries. We want to provide you with a unique place for rest and recreation, as well as informal mentoring and coaching. Our hope is that by providing this place in the midst of God’s beauty and creation, you will draw closer to Him and gain a fresh call and vision for your ministry.

Boat Accommodations

If this is your first experience aboard a moored boat, prepare for a fun and restful experience. The Salmon Harbor Marina is a beautiful setting with 500 slips. Our dock (#4) moors only 8 large boats/yachts, so it is extremely quiet. We provide all the linens and bedding you will need. The boat has a berth for sleeping, a head (restroom) with a toilet and shower, a galley (kitchen) with a small refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as all the utensils you will need (Cooking capabilities are limited). There is a salon with a couch and comfortable dinette area. Salmon Harbor Marina also provides wireless connection, should you bring your own computer.

Meal Arrangements

The boat will be stocked with food items for snacks, a Continental breakfast, as well as items to make your lunch, either to eat aboard the boat or take along on a picnic. There are numerous restaurants in the area that will treat you to some of the Oregon Coast’s famous seafood.

We would love to host you in our home for a dinner so that we can get better acquainted and encourage you in your ministry area.

Please call us at 541-271-5296 or email us at jandvhealy@gmail.com. We’ll respond with a “yes” or an alternate date. We book on a first come, first served basis.

Cost

A donation of $45/night (includes snacks, a Continental breakfast and lunch) will help us defray expenses. Should the cost be a hardship, let us know so we can make an alternative plan for you. We want you to come and enjoy the Oasis and not have the cost be a hindrance.

There are many activities in this recreational area. Please access www.winchesterbay.org and www.reedsportcc.org. These web sites will give you great information on activities available, local attractions and restaurants.
