Tim and Ericka Harris

Having been involved in missions since 1992, Tim and Ericka have seen the journey of preparation, training and commitment necessary to thrive. Their heart is to fortify those who serve cross culturally on the “front-lines” of God’s Great Commission. “Front-line” workers need rest and care. How wonderful for it to be at a location surrounded with God’s beauty and creation to fill their soul with low cost to the missionary.

As a result of his 15 years in business, Tim's skills include building and managing teams to reach common goals, coaching team members for success, listening and communicating effectively. He also understands and is committed to the value of a "leveraged approach" to ministry -- focusing energy toward the front-line missionaries to strengthen them, and in that way to have a great impact advancing the cause of Christ and His Kingdom. 

Ericka has a degree in Psychology and was involved in launching Stephen Ministry at her local church. Stephen Ministry trains lay congregation members to effectively walk alongside of and minister to an individual going through difficult yet normal circumstances in their lives. By giving them a safe place to share fears, doubts and frustrations, it also gives them a safe place to find God’s grace again. Through the process of coaching and active listening, they've learned that Christian worker successes become their successes.

Much of their missions involvement has been in Latin American countries. Both are fluent in Spanish and they are delighted to host Life Impact's Oasis in Costa Rica. They consider this an awesome way to use their gifts and serve together to strengthen those ministering on the "front-lines" of God's Great commission.
