This missionary home is located in the beautiful and quiet little town of Baldwin City, Kansas, which is halfway between Topeka and Kansas City; 10 miles from I-35 (North/South) and 20 miles from I-70 (East/West). Lawrence, Kansas, the home of Kansas University, is only 14 miles away.

His Haven is a newly renovated 900 sq. ft. cottage that has two bedrooms, kitchen and 1 bath situated on a large corner lot. Washer & dryer are available in the home. The home, including the kitchen, are fully furnished with a queen size bed in the master bedroom, and bunk beds in the second bedroom. Enjoy the sunshine from the deck as you take a nap or read a book in this quiet place. Or walk down the street to a bridge leading into a park with a nice picnic area, basketball court, and children's play area. Or go two blocks and enter the historic downtown with it's quaint shops, restaurants, and Baker University, the oldest University in Kansas. His Haven is ideal for a couple or a family of up to 4, (or 5 if one is a nursing baby). Besides infants, we only take children that are 7 years or older.

Priority is given to Missionaries on furlough. We want this to be available as a landing place for those workers, since that's not always easy to find. Therefore we offer longer stays for them.We will also take Pastors and other Christian leaders for personal retreats, as long as those retreats are booked within a two week period of the time they arrive. This is in order to serve them as well, but maintain His Haven's priority on Missionaries. Missionaries are welcome to make reservations up to a year in advance.

For stays of two weeks or less, our suggested donation is $30 per night. For those staying longer than 2 weeks, we'll negotiate an amount that fits us both.
